Mallory Adams graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Child Studies from Louisiana Tech University in 2016, and went on to receive her Masters of Arts in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech in 2018.

Mallory enjoys having a Family and Child Studies background in the mental health field because she feels that it has positively informed her view of clients to be seen from an individual and family perspective. Mallory has a specific interest in working with adolescents and young adults, and has experience utilizing person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectal behavioral therapy skills.

Mallory has experience in working with individuals with a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and behavioral issues. While her therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to each individual she works with, her overall goal in the therapeutic process is to provide clients with a welcoming environment where they can feel comfortable and like they have someone on their team. She enjoys getting to work alongside her clients to reach their goals, and provide support for them through empathy, honesty, and humor.

Mallory is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Alabama, Louisiana, and Wyoming. Mallory and her husband Sonny are Louisiana natives and have been married since 2018. They recently moved to the Lafayette with their dog George and they all three love to spend time together outdoors.

Mallory is currently taking clients seeking individual counseling and offers in-person and telehealth sessions.
