I'm Robyn, a graduate of Louisiana State University, serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), Certified Military Clinical Counselor (CMCC), and Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC) to the Lafayette & surrounding areas. I work with people who are looking for someone to help guide them on their journey to something different. I tend to be relaxed in sessions & approach therapy as a partnership. However, I'm straightforward & direct with my clients but promise to always treat you with respect & compassion. I'm especially passionate about helping individuals, including military members & first responders, heal from trauma. As a Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have undergone a variety of trauma-focused trainings such as but not limited to, EMDR, trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (tf-CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, & Written Exposure Therapy to be sure I have the tools to help you on your healing journey. I have also completed the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors & Trainers (LASACT) program for addiction counseling & have a history of working in substance recovery centers. I am the co-owner of Clarté Counseling, LLC and am further known for my volunteer work with The Overwatch Collective, Acadiana Veteran Alliance & The American Red Cross.

My specialties include trauma & OCD & military/first responder issues. I'm passionate about working with others & remain engaged in continued education & personal learning to be the best for my clients. I believe in individualized treatment through the use of a multi-modal approach. Together, you & I will find a treatment that fits best for you and your needs but you can typically expect me to incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work and/or EMDR for trauma & general struggles or ERP if you’re someone presenting with OCD. In addition, I have completed specialized training to offer Telehealth therapy sessions via my secure platform to anyone residing in the states of Louisiana, Arizona, and North Carolina.
