Hey y’all! My name is Haley Campbell. I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) at Clarté Counseling. I obtained a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Professional School Counseling at the University of Louisiana Monroe. I am also a Professional School Counselor in the Lafayette Parish School System, Certified Grief Informed Professional, & Certified Anxiety Informed Professional. I taught for four years before becoming a counselor. Being a teacher has helped me bring different interventions into sessions to meet the specific needs of each of my clients. I focus on four counseling techniques during sessions; person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a mix of direct and non-direct play therapy. Each of these therapy techniques give a unique outlook to different situations happening in your life. My main focus is on you, the client, and how your behaviors, thought processes, and life happenings bring you to where you are today in the here-and-now. The therapeutic relationship is also something that I heavily focus on. I want each client to feel comfortable while working through different areas of their life. My favorite thing to do is learn, which means I am dedicated to continuing to learn my craft and new methods of success for my clients. I am especially passionate about working with individuals on their grief journey.

I currently see client’s ages 10 and up. I offer scheduling for clients seeking after school/work sessions as well as Saturday mornings. As a PLPC, I offer reduced rates.
