Greetings, I’m so glad you’re here!

My name is Morgan Ruppert, and I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and Professional School Counselor. I graduated from LSU in 2023 with a Master of Education in Counseling and I have a BS in Psychology. I currently work as a middle school counselor in the community alongside Clarte Counseling.

I like to build a collaborative relationship with my clients that meets each individual where they are in their healing journey and personal development. Transitioning periods of life can be difficult to navigate, and sometimes they come with obstacles that may be too challenging to face alone. I am here to help with that process, using a holistic framework that will encourage mindful living and facilitate room for positive growth and change in your life. It starts with your story, your own unique experiences, and your willingness to be open. Think of therapy as a gift to yourself!

 My general areas of focus are with anxiety disorders, depression, relationship/peer issues and self image. I am Level 1 Certified in Gottman Couples Therapy and have 2 years of experience using evidence-based techniques for career exploration with teens and adults.

My approach to counseling involves using a holistic mindset in the therapy space. Improvement begins with the desire to make change, and regardless of where you are on that spectrum, I will meet you there! I like to use an Emotion-Focused approach when possible, but I believe using a range of techniques that fit a client’s needs typically allow for the best outcomes. Together, we will figure out the best course of action to move forward towards a version of you that you can be proud of.

I see individuals ages 16 and older, offering traditional in-person appointments and virtual appointments. I am available in the afternoons on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and Saturday mornings when needed.
